X-Ray and Imaging Systems, located in San Jose, CA, is a company that sells, installs and services medical equipments, with focus on X-Ray devices.
Its target customers are: hospitals, clinics, and private practices in the three sectors, medical, veterinarian and dental.

The geographical area covered is mainly northern California, but it extends its operations to Southern California and Arizona.
X-Ray and Imaging Systems has a dealership and distribution agreement with several companies and, therefore, it has a broad portfolio of products to offer to its customers.

The company was founded in 2000 by Sebastiano N. Lombardo, who has an extensive experience in the medical equipment arena, X-Ray equipment in particular.

The company has several independent partners and currently employs five people:
- the management team made of: Mr. Sebastiano Lombardo, the principal, in charge of pre-sale, sale, pre-installation, installation and service and Mr. Marco Paganini in charge of pre-sale, sale, marketing and digital products, i.e. Digital Radiography, Ultrasound systems etc..
- one administrative person
- two service technicians

Mr. Sebastiano N. Lombardo, the principal of the company, is an Electronic Engineer graduated at the Institute of Technology in Eindhoven (Netherlands) and he is a medical equipment specialist.
He started his career with Philips in Yemen. Between 1972 and 1984, he was a sub-contractor of Hospitalia International for Yemen (Hospitalia is a joint venture Philips and Siemens based in Frankfurt, Germany). In his capacity, he was responsible for: pre-installation, installation, service management and planning, maintenance, handing-over and training of personnel for hospitals ranging from 20 to 460 beds. Included departments were: ECG, EKG, ECC, X-Ray, ICU, Laboratory, Out-patients depts. and other general departments. During this period, he was involved in more than 50 projects in the Yemen Arab Republic and the United Emirates.
In 1990, he moved to USA and joined X-Ray Systems based in San Jose, CA, where he provided his services as associate. Among his responsibilities there were: pre-sale and sale activities, installation and service of X-Ray equipment and accessories. He created a base of loyal and satisfied customers, being very knowledgeable, reliable and honest.
In 2000, he founded X-Ray and Imaging Systems with the goal of continuing to provide high level of service to his customers.

Mr. Marco Paganini joined X-Ray Imaging and Systems in 2004 with the responsibility of marketing activities as well as the digital, computer-related projects.
He is an electronic engineer graduated at the University of Pisa, Italy, with specialization in computer science. His early career was at Olivetti, an Italian company, where he served in various departments, starting in the Research & Development dept. and ending in the Marketing Department. After leaving Olivetti, he was Business Development Manager of Ambrasoft, a software company in the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg.
In 1997 he moved to USA and became a Software Consultant with Apogeo, Inc. a high-tech consulting firm in the San Francisco Bay Area.
His engineering background, his software and computer expertise, together with his marketing and sales experience, make him an asset to X-Ray and Imaging Systems in its pursue of new business in the digital arena (e.g. Digital Radiography, Ultrasound systems etc.)
